Piling operations NVQ Level 2 (QUA 761)

This Suite of NVQ’s are linked to the CPCS Card Scheme. This NVQ must be completed if you are a Piling Rig Operative. This NVQ encompasses all types of piling rigs.

The process is relatively easy to understand. The procedure is as follows:

      1. Register Candidate (s)
      2. Portfolio Build
      3. NVQ Induction including profiling and evidence collection/collation
      4. Confirmation of underpinning knowledge
      5. Worksite Observations

There are seven mandatory units within this NVQ, namely:

          VR 01 – Conform to General Workplace Safety

          VR 02 – Conform to Efficient Work Practices

          VR 03 – Move and Handle Resources

          VR 235 – Contribute to Piling Operations

          VR 402P – Slinging and Signalling the Movement of Loads

          VR 299P – Plant and Machinery Operator Maintenance

          VR 390P – Operate Plant and Machinery to Construct and Form

So, if you wish to embark upon this NVQ you must complete all of the seven units above to gain this qualification.
