Portable cut off disc cutters - plant training

Wyevern have developed a ½ day Portable Cut Off Disc Cutter Course for their clients. This course is a must for all companies using disc cutters.

The course covers the following topics:

General health and safety evaluation
Hazards associated with abrasive wheels and safety features
Maintenance of the equipment and storage of wheels
Wheel inspection
Procedure for changing wheels
Practical and assessment

The now repealed Abrasive Wheels Act has been superceded by the Provision and Use of Work Equipment regulations which cover portable cut off disc cutters. It is essential that the delegates competence is checked.

We will accept up to 12 delegates on the same course.
